Accelerated Access Course
Who can take the accelerated access course?
If you are under 21 you can only ride a motorcycle that is under 33bhp,
If you turn 21 within your 2 year restriction period, for example, you may have passed your test at the age of 20. If this is the case and you now want to ride a larger motorcycle you can apply for your Accelerated Access Test.
The Accelerated Access Test involves taking your test on a larger motorcycle and if you pass you can ride any motorcycle. However if you fail you will not lose your restricted license, it only means you are still unable to ride a larger motorcycle.
Information about accelerated access course
Unlike some of the larger schools we do 1 - to - 1 training for Module 1 and Module 2. The only time we will put you together is if you were on the way to your test. Before you start your Accelerated Access Course you my complete your CBT Training and have passed your Theory Test.
Module 1 Test is off road manoeuvres where you get to demonstrate your bike handling skills, whereas the Module 2 Test is an on road test where you are followed by an examiner who tests your hazard perception, forward planning and general road skills.
Even if you have passed your Category A or A2 Test but not ridden a bike for a while, you may benefit from using our fully qualified instructor to build your confidence. We can focus on any aspect you like from intricate manoeuvres; general bike handling; cornering or moving to a new bike.
